- Get really good at snake charming. For 1000 dollars you can purchase the king cobra. Start charming your cobra, your sim will attempt to kiss it eventually.
- Sleep in the Blessed Sarcophagus of the Kings. You have to collect all five pieces that make it and then assemble it by clicking the pieces in your inventory. If it's the right one it will be gold. If it is black, then that is the Cursed Sarcophagus of the Kings. You don't want to sleep in that.
- Work your way through the Sphinx so you can be cleansed from the Soulpeace Statue.
Alright, this is the first room in the sphinx. Go stand on the floor switch.
This turns off most of the fire traps.
Swim across the small pools to get to the other side. Then push the statues onto the floor switches in the middle.
The floor switches activate the holes in the floor.
Examine both of the holes
Go down the stairs and collect the treasures that are down there.
Examine the hidden door to open it.
Gather the treasure in this room
Go through the other door in the room you just walked out of. Read the pannel next to the door and the door will be unlocked.
Dive in the purple dive pool to unlock the door. Diving in the other pools wakes up a mummy.
Search the sarcophagi to find a few more treasures.
Go through the door you unlocked...
To this room.
Inspect the wall here, its a hidden door.
Grab the keystone.
Put the keystone in the socket next to the door.
This next part is tricky. Im not going to type out everything, but I think i took enough pictures for you to figure out where you need to move all the statues so you can get to everything.
Pick up the coins, and open the chest
Inspect the wall here, its a hidden door.
open the chest.
Stand on the floor switch to turn the floor traps off. Go up the stairs.
Clear away the rubble.
Go through the door and stand on the floor switch to unlock the door.
Go back, and go up the stairs. Clear away the rubble.
Don't forget this keystone. It's a little hard to see.
Walk through the door...
Inspect the wall to find the hidden door.
You should get a message now saying you have completed this tomb.
This is the Soulpeace Statue that will cleanse you of your curse.
Can yew do the deep within the forbidden city mission...I believe it starts off with decoding a message but i forgot what th mission was called. please email me if yew decide to do the quest, or if yew already have completed it. thank you- 91809 (on the sims 3 website(: marleneserrano_13@rocketmail.com)
ReplyDeletethe mission you are referring to is titled Market caves part 1 in this blog.
ReplyDeleteYou are amazing. Thank you for this!
ReplyDeleteThat was sooooooo helpful, thank you so much!! I never would have gotten through that maze of statues without this! I appreciate all the work you did in putting this together!
ReplyDeleteHow do i find the freaking eye og hours, or whatever??
ReplyDeleteanonymous- for the eyes of horus, see the 'Abu Simbel' tutorial found in the january updates on this blog, it gives an in-depth look at how you get the eyes of horus. i suggest you have the ability to zeniport as this will become very useful-if not necessary at a certain part of that quest. abu simbel is a tomb you explore on your own so it won't come up in a mission that i'm aware of.
ReplyDeleteAwesome guide! Note there is a hidden door in the bathroom too, next to the toilet. I found it on a second trip through the Sphinx as I missed it the first time in.
ReplyDeletethannks you are a simsaver!
ReplyDeleteAll Your walkthroughs are simply amazing....thanks for all the work and making it easier for finding the way :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for this! I needed this help for the tricky part! Thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to take the statue with me, or can I buy it anywhere so I always have it with me in case I get cursed? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat happens to your Sim when you get cursed? Has Arthur ever been cursed?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for these walkthroughs!
Yes when you enter in "buydebug on" it sends you to the 'Tomb Objects' and if you look through that a little bit you'll find the SoulPeace Statue. And it doesn't cost a thing either. Hope this helped! :)
ReplyDeleteIt won't let me talk to it and I never got the message saying I have completed the tomb?? What do I do?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget there's a whole other section to this tomb. Stand on the floor tile underneath the scafolding outside the Sphynx. :)
ReplyDeleteThe room with the sink there is another secret room leading to a bedroom where you find another star that i have no idea what is for.
ReplyDeleteVery helpful guide, thank you very much. I wouldn't have gotten as far as I did, before my sim had to return home, without this.
ReplyDeleteSnake charm works great thanks.x
ReplyDeleteI was able to use the moodlet manager, it got rid of the curse for me.
