Hey everybody! It's been almost a year since I created this walkthough, and I would just like to thank all of you for your comments, your input, and your continued support. This page has grown in popularity so much in the past few months, that when you Google search "World Adventures Walkthrough" it is the first result! Also, blogspot has added a new feature to the dashboard which allows me to view the statistics of my page. I am averaging about 15,000 hits a month! Alot of you have been asking if I will be doing any other walkthoughs for other expansion packs, or other games. As of right now I am addicted to WoW and with the recent release of the much anticipated Cataclysm expansion, and I haven't been able to tear myself away to play The Sims. However, if enough of you comment on this entery asking me to do another Sims 3 expansion, I will start on that :D
Happy Simming, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year

*shiver*....WoW...the only game I'm too scared to play...I decided to "give it a shot" and four years later I was still struggling to quit...been off the stuff for over a year now, and last thing I want is to go back...I'll stick with the Sims...at least that I can bring myself to turn off now and then, lol.
ReplyDeleteVery useful walkthroughs, got me past several moments of mental block, thanks!
ReplyDeletePLEASE!
ReplyDeletei was ready to introduce my face to a wall. The last thing I ever thought I would need was a walkthrough for the SIMS but here I am...
When you decide to return to the Sims 3, there's one tomb adventure you need to add to the walkthroughs. It starts with someone's grandfather wanting Common Relics, but takes you through the Tomb of the First Emperor under the Terracotta Army site. I've gotten through it myself, but it isn't easy. Is Arthur up for another adventure?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Calgary Rose, that adventure is very tricky and a walkthrough would be very awesome.
ReplyDeleteVery helpful! I'm definitely going to recommend this site to my friends! :D
ReplyDeleteI have played WoW too..and after 2 years of playing decided enough was enough.. the Sims has always been there. lol. Anyway, I really hope you come back to the sims and continue working on this Blog, because its helped me quite a Bit! we neeeed you!! :-)
ReplyDeleteI just recently decided to start simming again since the pets expansion is on its way. Of course the first thing and only thing I've ever got stuck on was a silly tomb. Thanks so much for your help :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your help! I decided to try to do the adventures and you are so helpful . I couldn't do some without these walkthroughs!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for all of the time and effort you put into these walkthroughs. I would still be in stuck in a tomb were it not for you. Please, please do this for other Sims games!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of the work you did in putting these together :) I am glad your link popped up when I did a search because it has been a BIG help to me. I have referred to them for quite some time and would not hesitate to suggest them to friends!
ReplyDeleteIf the sims 3 university come out next year please make a lets play because university is a time to explore and you are an exploring guy because your tomb guides are the best thanks.
ReplyDeleteWell, it's late in 2013 and we now have Into The Future, which is kind of interesting and presents some new 'adventures' of a sort. However, no cool traditional dungeon crawls (I'm a WoW refugee), as far as I can see.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, I'm back to playing World Adventures, and finding the Great Pyramid a trick to get through, Seems Mona set off a fire trap with no discernible deactivation device, which separated her and The Author, shortly before they both reached exhaustion levels.
I can't find a comprehensive walkthrough as fine as the ones you did. I also can't figure out if you did one or not for the Great Pyramid, because you very helpfully titled your walkthroughs after quest chains, and I don't know which one is for the Great Pyramid (My Sims kind of just blundered in without a prompt). Going to take another look through your back catalogue, and if that doesn't work, I'll probably just enable teleport to get past it next time. Won't be as cool, but what else can I do? I felt like Mona was really going to die down there ( I know she was relatively safe, but my anxiety was getting out of control. WoW FYI: I used to be a bear tank, and a dwarven priest, and these were both very anxiety-inducing positions, I found), and The Author was going to have to watch helplessly.
I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Superb work!
ReplyDeleteHI IM OLAF AND I LIKE WARM HUGS
ReplyDeleteHi--just circling back to do a completionist run of this game I enjoyed a decade ago, and your detailed breakdowns of all the tombs has been a godsend. Not sure if you're still checking this blog, but thank you for this.
